Another Successful Stakeholder Forum
Last Thursday the Superfast Leicestershire Team hosted another Stakeholder Engagement Forum. Though the beautiful weather and the football might have affected the numbers, those who came along hopefully left feeling more positive about the project and secure in the knowledge of when their area will be upgraded.
The presentation , which was delivered by the Project Manager, included information about how the upgrade to superfast fibre broadband is being rolled out, the challenges the project and our partners are experiencing, what to expect when the project enters its new phase, and alternative funding opportunities.
To view the presentation from last weeks events please follow this link: Stakeholder Forum Presentation June 18
Attendees from the areas of Belton, Desford, Coleorton, Husbands Bosworth, Belvoir, and Burton on the Wolds discussed with project officers the issues in their areas and received updates on their progress. Their concerns are being passed on to our partners Openreach and will be taken on-board.
If you would like an update from the Superfast Leicestershire team about when you can expect to access superfast broadband, email your address and post code to broadband@leics.gov.uk and a member of the team will be in touch.
If you would like to attend the next Stakeholder Forum the date will be announced on our website and social media, you can also sign up to our mailing list to be kept in the loop about all future news and events.
